The Pacific Surfliners are at break-even or very little growth on year-over-year basis. Does it make sense to remove the Superliner Car and go back to matching sets with one less car per Surfliner? Or is the flexibility still needed with having the Superliner in the consist.

JP, I think the reason why they moved the Superliner to the second car slot.
is to sell more business class seats. On the 700 series and a few of the 500 series Trains.
Business Class is very popular. And adds more revenue

The reason from the clean platform is the over 13 inches of rain that we had received.

A short torrential downpour occured just after the first photo.  I was on that train coming from Anaheim.  But the sun did come out, as evidenced by the last photo.
