Virgin Trains / BrightLine IPO prices
Author: Lackawanna484

The offering circular for BrightLine shares has been released.  This is the formal statement of the business, what management expects various what might happen scenarios, etc.  There's also a discussion of the High Desert segment (the Las Vegas Expansion part) as well as a discussion of the North segment (West Palm to Orlando, and on to Tampa).  Estimates of traffic and revenue, too.

The offering is expected to fetch $19 - $21 per share, with a $75 million take anticipated.  Lots of white shoe law firms, and Wall Street power houses on the line.

A filing with the SEC does not imply endorsement or approval, of course.  And, it gives management's and the selling investor's point of view only.

I'm not making any recommendation on the purchase or sale of these securities, do your own homework and research.

There will be some rail enthusiasts who will buy shares in this company; however I sure hope that none of the big hedge funds purchase them or it will be short lived as all these folks care about is making lots of quick dollars and given time they will ruin the situation.

A hedge fund, called Fortress Investment Group is already a majority owner of Virgin Trains. :-)

Fortress and Virgin are the controlling share holders, so any individual is along for the ride.

The document goes into some detail about the minority owners' lack of power.
