2..  Pacific Surfliner  Charger 2120 Santa Ana.
3. Anyone knows what this is?  Washed up at North Beach San Clemente.

It's a fender off of someone's boat.

It is a fender from a boat. Could it be from the boat that I photographed that was wash up after Christmas?

Could be off most any smaller boat. People lose them all of the time.

Fender from a motor boat.  Some lubberly clods leave 'em hanging over the sides of their boat after they leave the dock; you're supposed to pull them on board at that time -- which looks more seamanlike & squared away.

When my wife's family tells me to pull in the "bumpers", leaving the dock, I always act like I don't know what they mean!   Still they refuse to use the proper word "fender"...
