I dislike flying to the maximum. Not afraid to do it, just don't like all the bs that goes with it.

When I travel between the Midwest (aka God's country here in Missouri) and LA, I prefer the Southwest Chief. When I have to drive, well .....

Great photo. But not sure about the flying "BS." Sign up for TSA Pre Check and you zip through security in minutes without taking anything off excepting metal objects. It's almost impossible to railfan outside North America wihout the airlines!

Yes indeed, flying sucks! I fly only when I have no other choice. And I'm signed-up with the TSA. It is not the security issue caused by our foreign policy, free-wheeling gun toters and wing-nuts, they're real. It is being played for a fool at every opportunity by the airlines with little to say about it although we the public owns the airports and the sky. With the general exception of Southwest Air, that is.

Free-wheeling guns that is. As for the sky, the air space above the USA is publicly-owned.
