Train number 7, the westbound Empire Builder, dwells at Wenatchee on Friday morning.

Seems to have a normal conist including 2 regular sleepers and 2 coaches. 

Yes, was on it for a short ride on Thursday from Sea to EDM. Normal consist!

Only one unit? Did they drop 2nd some where due to failure?

This is the Seattle to Spokane section. It will join up with the Portland to Spokane section at Spokane. The now complete train will then go to Chicago.

Actually this is the westbound headed to Seattle.  It separated from the Portland section at Spokane in the early morning hours, losing its Sightseer Lounge, two coaches, and a sleeper in the process.  For some reason it seems that you're more likely to see two units on the Portland section than on the Seattle section.

That's a great photo, regardless of the consist.
