When it was abandoned warehouses, I tried to find somebody at BN who cared, suggesting that BN could acquire the property, straighten out the sharp curves at the north (railroad east) end of the tunnel, and sell the old right of way property to the adjacent parcel owner. By the time I found someone that was interested, the property was sold, the warehouses were gone, and the permit for the new development was issued.
