According to the National Weather Service's River Forecast Center, the BNSF tracks begin to flood at a stage of 20.5 feet.  The current level is 23+ feet.  The river is not expected to drop below 20.5 feet sometime around April 25th.  Of course this all goes out the window if more rain occurs.

Has the flooding we have been experiencing along the Mississippi, north of St. Louis, impacted the Southwest Chief as it crosses in Ft. Madison, IA?
