Here's a going image at Metro Center and a leaving image at Union Station of the Breda subway cars that they are looking to replace in a couple of years.

The light rail portion of the Cleveland RTA, also made by Breda, are still on the rails from 1981, but parts procurement or fabrication have been a major issue. Most cars that could be cannibalized have been. Hence they are looking at replacing their fleet.

These are 1991-1998, I think. I believe they are getting rid of them because LA likes to spend money. |
