The Boston stubs of the Lake Shore do not seem to be having good luck these days. Today's 449 left Boston at 12:51 pm and arrived Albany at 7:57pm...less than 30 mph average speed. It left Back Bay (mp 01) at 12:59 pm and was at Framingham at mp 21 at 2:45 pm.
#49 left Albany late because of the late arrival of #449. Anybody know what happened ? Full consist to be maintained but operated out of NYP.
