Passenger Trains > Any Updates on Texas Eagle service FTW-Stl

To All:
I have someone that will be taking the train to Chicago from Temple, TX on Wednesday, June 12. Does anyone "in the know" have any idea if service will be restored by next week. I heard on the national news today that the river through St. Louis will crest on Saturday. Thank you. I know that I submitted a similar question thread but figured another thread may help me receive a better response. I am trying to decide if I need to help her get a plan ticket.

Train 22 from San Antonio June 7 is going through to Chicago
train 21 from Chicago to San Antonio is showing space available June 8

One can check these questions right on the Amtrak computer.

Amtrak showed availabliity for the 7th both yesterday and today however none of the tracking programs show 22 moving beyond FTW or 21 going beyond STL.  My suggestion would be to call Amtrak and tell Julie you would like to speak to an Agent.They should have the latest information.
