Author: Passfanatic Just stand way back behind the yellow line. Those Acelas max out at 150 mph through Kingston Station. It’s a good spot to photograph trains.

On the NEC, they operate as far south as Wickford Jct, located about nine miles from the Kingston Amtrak Station. MBTA still uses older F40PH and GP40MC units on many of its lines but on the lines with the highest ridership in the system, they tend to use the HSP-46 units.
