Passenger Trains > West Coast Railway Association Dinner TrainDate: 06/16/19 11:31 West Coast Railway Association Dinner Train Author: BCR4619 This past weekend the West Coast Railway Association ran the first dinner train of the year from the Heritage Park down to the Squamish Estuary and return while serving a 5 course meal. Last year was the first year we started a dinner train that went within Yard limits on the CN Squamish Sub, this year we are planning 3 with the next one being on July 25th, 2019.
1. After guests enjoyed a glass of champagne they boarded the train and headed North out of the museum for the Northern Yard limits where we cross the Mamquam River. 2. Backing down to the Squamish Estuary, taken from the observation platform of the business car Alberta. 3. View from the open observation car xCP 598 Date: 06/16/19 11:34 Re: West Coast Railway Association Dinner Train Author: BCR4619 4. xCP FP7A 4069 is dwarfed by the Squamish Chief in the evening sun.
