Amtrak #1 (6)
Author: jonathanstrains

Can anyone tell me what engine #'s are leading this late #1 the Sunset Limited? It said on Twitter for Amtrak Alerts that there was due to engine issues. I wasn't sure if it was just Amtrak engines or something rare leading. I saw on the map that they were doing 72.1 MPH before they started to come into Maricopa, in Arizona ... I may be assume it's just Amtrak engines leading. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on anything important.

Should have been around a few months back when # 1 had a CSX unit that was added in San Antonio and lead all the way to LA, now that's rare.
