Passenger Trains > Ex-PRR 8404 Catalpa Falls “home” in Philadelphia (Race Street

Amtrak made the pick-up on July 4 and placed the Catalpa Falls on #28 Track in Race Street Yard (Philadelphia 30th Street Station if you are not famalier with the local jargon). Happy day!

The daylight picture is from earlier today.  The Catalpa Falls is ready to join its fellow 1949 PRR Pullman Cars (Frank Thomson and Colonial Crafts) for this weekend's Broadway Limited 70th Anniversary Run.  Limited space is still available for the trip.  Please see the TO classified ads section for more information, or go to www.BroadwayLimited1949.com for more information.
