Passenger Trains > Ex-PRR 8404 Catalpa Falls Back in Home Terrirory

After an extensive rebuild to "zero time" condition and to meet Amtrak mechanical standards, ex-PRR 8404 the Catalpa Falls (Amtrak 800030) after decades, is finally back on PRR rails.  Shown here next to the Northeast Corridor having just been delivered by CSX to the "handoff" track between Philadelphia Interlocking and Arsenal.  Ready for Amtrak pickup for delivery to the Race Street Yard.

The date is Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Wonderful to see her next to the catenary!  Looking very much at home.
