This trip comes to mind from last summer when there was no spare sleeper in the yard, forcing us to wait for the 11 hour late inbound Chief to peel off a sleeper.

One sleeper on the Sunset for LA to New Orleans passenger, and one sleeper for LA to Chicago passengers via San Antonio. The Sunset lost its second sleeper a number of years ago with a schedule change. Date: 07/10/19 21:26 Re: tonight's #4 question Author: ColdRainAndSnow You're right about that. Forgot about the TE sleeper. It's happened to me twice having to wait on 3 to get 4 out even though the SL trainset was being used. I guess it must have been B/O cars on the Sunset consist that forced the wait for 3.
