What is going on up there? 

Probable suicide, Golf Course Dr. at the SMART tracks...third train vs. ped at that crossing this month.

At this rate they’re going to overtake Caltrain, and with a fraction of the number of trains.

UPDATE:  This is reported as having occurred north of the Golf Course Drive crossing.  The area is frequented by homeless, who have set up camps across the street from Walmart.  Location appears to be in an unincorporated area north of the Rohnert Park city limit but not as far north as Scenic Ave., scene of the suicide by train of a man facing charges of sexual abuse of children.

SMART is bus-bridging between Cotati and Santa Rosa.

Caltrain? Heck, at this rate they'll overtake the Golden Gate Bridge. The GGB District stopped keeping count when the tally hit the four-digit mark a few years back.

Mooshee identified, confirmed as suicide.

A trespasser who authorities say took his own life by running in front of a SMART train Monday afternoon has been identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office as Thomas Nichols, 61, of Santa Rosa.
