Top notch!  Great desert scenery out there, just too bad it's only the 2 Amtraks on that line.

Interesting that it's right behind the power.  Usually the PVs are at the rear end.

It is because of the set-out coach between KCY and CHI.  Amtrak will not do a double switch in Kansas City.

When did that change? I've watched them drop a pv on the lead to the KCUS storage tracks, drop the add on coach and then hook back to the pv and head west within the last year.
