Passenger Trains > Three units on sb Auto-Train

The 52 arriving Lorton Monday morning was almost three hours late, the 53 heading south this afternoon managed to get out just an hour and a half late.  Good job, Lorton staff!

The arriving units came in elephant style, which may suggest problems enroute. 814 led, with 835 behind. There were also reports of CSX signal trouble near Charleston last night.  Units 835 and 814 were shuffled in Lorton, and went south as 835 + 174 + 814, with 174 facing the train, as was 814.

Should be a daylight run through much of south Georgia.  Amtrak's magic scheduler forecasts the train just an hour late into Sanford, but it's only in Weldon NC now.

53 was reported ar Callahan FL, 25 mph at 8 am.

Will be a little late.
