Passenger Trains > The Amtrak Bluewater CAN & DOES move the train at 110 MPH!!Date: 08/25/19 12:24 The Amtrak Bluewater CAN & DOES move the train at 110 MPH!! Author: Ron The Amtrak Bluewater CAN & DOES move the train at 110 MPH!!
Amtrak #364 IDTX 4612 IDTX 4629, Saturday, August 24, 2019, at about 7:10 PM. At 38Th Street - MP 164.78 Amtrak Michigan Line, Decatur, Michigan. On my Saturday trip to the West Michigan area between Lawton, and Decatur, Michigan, I carried two cameras. The video I posted earlier of Amtrak #364 was, I felt, a better video than this one. But, at the end of this one, it does show the train doing 110 MPH. The earlier video was taken with a Nikon B500 camera, and this one was taken with a Nikon B600 camera. Still doesn't change the outcome, train was a loser into Port Huron.. Arrived 30 civilized minutes late. 4 trains arrived within tolerance over the past week, 3 did not. That's a on a schedule loaded with pad. 110 mph does not translate into an on-time train.
