Passenger Trains > Metrolink at Stony Point Park Chatsworth CA

While waiting on the Union Pacific LOF67, wound up shooting three Metrolinks, SCAX 115, 117, and 118 (which uses the same equipment as 115). 

Image one is 115 with an F59PHI leader heading towards Moorpark.

Image two is 117 with an F125 leader heading to Ventura East.

Image three is 118 with the returning F59PHI shoving to Los Angeles.

There are dozens of ghosts just around that curve; that was where the UP eastbound met Metrolink one dark night in 2006.

Good to remember but Metrolink/UP Chatsworth was on Sept. 12, 2008 and it happened in was 4:22PM so darkness wasn't a factor.

No bad judgment was the factor. I actually knew the kid he was texting to that day. I wonder how he felt when he found out that he was part of an accident that killed the passengers and ozzed the engineer out of the cab. I couldn't live with it.
