Passenger Trains > A few from August (Harrisburg area)Date: 09/14/19 18:38 A few from August (Harrisburg area) Author: mp109 I'm in rehab now from my problems with multiple myloma and other complications. However in between I did manage to get out.
These are the Amtrak shots, freight action is on the Eastern Railroads board. 1. August 11th, after the church picnic we went to the Midddletown station to catch no. 42. Keystone Service train no. 663 shows up, running late. 2. ACS-64 pushing it to Harrisburg. 3. No. 42 shows up.    Date: 09/14/19 18:48 Re: A few from August (Harrisburg area) Author: mp109 4. 5. We went to Harrisburg to catch some trains and got no. 43 leaving. 6. On the 18th we went to Harrisburg and got no. 43 trying to leave, They have encountered a stop signal leaving the station and have to wait for an NS train ti pass before they can continue they're journey. 8. On the 29th Amtrak no. 43 passes Lucknow Road. 9. When I go out "train watching" I like to get shots of Amtrak nos. 42 and/or 43. However this can be frustrating at times. Like this day sitting by track one hoping the train stopped there will move before Amtrak gets there. It didn't move this day!
