Passenger Trains > Coast Starlight Business ClassDate: 10/01/19 17:52 Coast Starlight Business Class Author: norm1153 I'm taking a pleasure trip later this month. I booked a Business Class seat on the Coast Starlight; somehow I didn't realize they had a Business Class coach on that train. Oh well, a pleasant surprise for a change!

Chris Date: 10/01/19 21:17 Re: Coast Starlight Business Class Author: wa4umr I've taken the business class on train 65 overnight between Boston and DC. It's a nice in-between coach and a sleeper. Train 65, a regional didn't have sleepers and I knew I was going to be tired when I boarded so I opted for the business class. It's not quite like having a bed, but I did end up getting quite a bit of rest. It's quieter also.
John Date: 10/01/19 21:42 Re: Coast Starlight Business Class Author: gaspeamtrak I took it in September from Sacramento to L.A.
It was really busy and it was worth it The lady taking care of the car was excellent !!! :):):) Date: 10/01/19 22:52 Re: Coast Starlight Business Class Author: goduckies It doesn't seem worth it to meif it was me I would just sit in the lounge the whole way like i usually do in the Starlight. But if you don't sit there much and mainly stay in your seat I could see the attraction

Date: 11/09/19 17:50 Re: Coast Starlight Business Class Author: norm1153 Yes, a full Business Class car. It was perhaps 1/2 full, with plenty of seating choices. Free water bottle, and a $6 coupon for food in the diner, or cafe car. I enjoyed my trip quite a lot. I will use it again, whenever I travel on the Coast Starlight in the future.
