Passenger Trains > 14 vs vehicle in San Jose

Number 14 struck a vehicle in south San Jose tonight.

I don't know any details, but here is a quick drive-by video making the rounds in a non-railfans group.

The 4 or 5 guys that were near the tracks replied to the guy (that watched Cheech and Chong movies too many times apparantly) shooting the video; to his query "Was there somebody in that car?!?" - "No, we got him out of it". Good news for the driver's sake.

#14 just came through Dunsmuir with #152 on the point, #44 trailing. Curious if that's the same locomotive as in the collision.

Cheech and Chong were a hoot.

Hey it's California and specifically San Jose. Most of the population is devolved which is why we moved. And of course the fine (joking) education system as well as all you can smoke pot.

No worse then I've heard on Long Island or in New Jersey.
