Passenger Trains > Amtrak #3 appears to be stuck at Winslow AZ

As of 3:42AM MT, per Amtrak Train Tracker, #3 is going 0 mph (and has been for quite awhile now) at Winslow running 7 hrs 10 minutes late. I read in the commentary on the Flagstaff Live Rail cam that #3 has a medical emergency at Lamy NM and then a mechanical issue at Albuquerque. 

#3 is on the move at 80mph as of 3:45AM MT (or perhaps earlier) - cumulative lateness is 7 hours 46 minutes. Due into next stop at Flagstaff at 4:18AM MT.

       Should probably quit believing everything you see on the electronic type surveylence. Sometimes it fails and is worthless.

Just witnessed with my own eyeballs #3's almost 8 hour late departure from Flagstaff, AZ on the Flagstaff Virtual Rail Cam. Of course there may be electronic collusion going on here! ;-)
 

FAKE NEWS!

So why is a "late" Amtrak train newsworthy?  It happens every day.

Sad but true! But 8 hours is a lengthy delay for #3 which is generally less than 2 hours late by the time it gets to Flagstaff. I feel bad for the WB boarding patrons at Flagstaff who bought tickets for CA thinking they could board at 8-9pm and arrive by sunrise. Instead today they had to board near sunrise likely trying to sleep in the depot.

seriously, some of us rely on the "heads-up" of a late passenger train so that MAYBE they can get a video of it during the daylight hours when it normally runs at night where they live.

Just blame it on the "far left", as with they and their so called candidates, ANYTHING can happen!!  It has to be the reason, as it happens with #3 as often as these 'persons' appear in mainstream media with their radical promotions.

I think we have a "nest" of Eagles fans in the group.  I have a copy of "Eagles' Greatest Hits" on a CD that I bought in a shop "on a corner in Winslow, Arizona."

At least they aren't "Stuck in old Lodi again" (for the members of the Creedence Clearwater Crosstie Walkers Club)
