Passenger Trains > Amtrak rewards miles questionDate: 11/15/19 18:05 Amtrak rewards miles question Author: czuleget Planing a trip to Portland and back to Davis in early December. Anyone know if there are any restrictions at this time of the year?

I just tried to access my rewards and found that they will be lost if you are inactive for 24 months. Not good. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/16/19 10:36 by czuleget. Date: 11/16/19 11:19 Re: Amtrak rewards miles question Author: Todd Get their credit card. No fee no cancellation of points

1. Buy a ticket and earn more 2. Buy points via the AGR site. Sometimes they run sales, but even buying the minimum amount will extend your points 3. Sign up for the survey club they push. Thw surveys are tedious, but you can earn points by completing them. Sean Posted from Android Date: 11/16/19 12:52 Re: Amtrak rewards miles question Author: Wurli1938 Todd Wrote:

As long as you are using the card, and subsequently earning points, there is no cancellation of points.

Bank of America has two Amtrak MasterCards. One is Platinum Card with no fee but only earns 2 pts per $ of Amtrak purchases. The other is the World Mastercard with $79 fee and earns 3 pts per Amtrak $ spent. Both have introductory bonus points offers.
