Metrolink Christmas Train!

Your eyes do not deceive you! Metrolink is bringing back the Christmas Train and you can ride it! Specials will be picking up passenger from various stations and taking them on a ride, returning passengers to the station of origin.

I am very excited for this, its been years since the last holiday train.

As a separate note, the metrolink caboose and 2 flat cars are in storage out in Saugus, I will be curious to see if they use them.

Back east LIRR's Holiday trains sold out within days, if not hours:

I kinda wish they brought back the original Toy Holiday Express they once had.

That train was the best promotion they had going.

Good idea. I will pass it on to the guys who did it. Now if you can only convince the upper management to do it. And can we add some style with it for 2020? How about 3751 pulling it? And yes I know, where are you going to turn it? No put a diesel on the end to pull it backwards, just like others do around the world.

There is not a lot of capacity with a single train doing two runs a day, once a week.
