Coke On the Corridor

Locomotive 606 earning its keep while making a few advertising dollars for the bottom line. First image at Claymont, DE on Wednesday, the second at Wilmington this morning.

Enjoy !

Amtrak should do more of this...but only on the high visibility corridors. Other locations have far fewer eyeballs (advertising term for views). Wraps aren't cheap but far less than many other forms of advertising. Locomotive and car wraps are used much more frequently in Europe. But of course the density of populations and thus eyeballs are much greater.

Actually the grey, red and black scheme suits this locomotive. Looks clean and simple.

I wish Capital Corridor carried Coke... they only serve Pepsi products. 😞
