Passenger Trains > #6 in Better Weather Conditions

Made the usual check of Amtrak's website yesterday morning and discovered that the westbound CZ would arrive in Lincoln, NE around 8:20.  Unlike Sunday, it was sunny yesterday and there was no wind!

So, I headed down to a crossing at 84th and Cornhusker (HIghway 6) and waited.  BNSF traffic made for an extended station stop so the train didn't go past my location until just before 9.  

In these two views, 6 is accelerating on the eastbound journey after having gone through the crossovers at Havelock on the east side of Lincoln.
