Follow-up on police action No. 6 at Truckee

Here's a news report from the Sierra Sun of the incident I posted about No. 6 being held in Truckee on Jan. 5.

interfering with interstate transportation maybe a federal crime, maybe they figured he was mental , and didn't throw the book at him?

His behavior was criminal!  But CA goes easy on "low level" crimes like this one.....which explains why our state is awash in crime.

Many NJ Transit trains and buses have signs warning potential malefactors of criminal penalties for attacking transit employees.

This guy was released on bond (or bail, if you prefer), which means that his case hasn't been resolved and we don't know what the outcome will be.  Please stop using stereotypes as facts.

I wonder what the chances are that he'll appear in court when he's supposed to.  The number of outstanding bench warrants and people who flee back to their native countries to avoid prosecution is stuff that a lot of people don't like to talk about.  Political machines now protect these criminals and make sure their photographs are not published.
