Cut car at Spokane?

Years ago Amtrak ran an extra coach between Portland and Spokane and it stayed a short time in Spokane before returning it to Portland

There was a lot of demand from PDX-SPK and this saved space for long distance travel

Does Amtrak still do this?

NO Spokane cut off car, for many, a many a year.  In fact in all my  30 years of having Arrow computer access do not recall.

During the early days when the Portland section of the empire builder was added this cut car was a regular service
