Diridon Station in San Jose, with recent construction. All that overhead going in certainly complicates the overall view of the station.  The overhead construction in this photo is all to the south of the station platform tracks.  That area is still clear.  It looks like an additional storage track is going in on the left, adjacent to VTA's single track.  It's not clear if that track is for VTA, or Caltrain.  Perhaps someone with better knowledge can expand on that.
Thanks, Norm

Looking at Google Map, the storage track is connected to the VTA line. This is also where the single track for VTA light rail starts.

That is not a new track.  There's a bumper on it and there just happens to be a piece of MOW gear parked there at the moment.

That 1935 shot is great - thanks for posting1

Lot's of train photos shot from San Carlos St toward the station. It's been a go to spot for specials on the Coast. May be a challenge with the wires, although there isn't much to shoot on the Coast these days anyway.

Cool shots both.  Question on the 1935 shot.  The image name says 1928.  ??
