Amtrak #22 Eagle 7 hrs late

It departed San Antonio 3 hrs late, account a late Sunset Ltd connection. Then east of Dallas a disabled freight trains.

UPeeee strikes twice. And the mgmt. will say that 12000 foot trains are really not a problem.

I take the Eagle once a month from Austin to Cleburne and back and meet a friend from Weatherford, TX for lunch.  I hour 50 minut turnaround.  I never go on a Sunset connection day.

Precision railroading should be called destructive railroading.  UP needs to look at BNSF.  Shorter, faster freight movements is the answer to expediated delivery of shipments and bettter crew and equipment utilization.
