Passenger Trains > NC reductionsDate: 03/20/20 12:51 NC reductions Author: ctillnc NCDOT announced that effective Monday, trains 73, 74, 77, and 78 will not operate until further notice. Trains 75, 76, 79, and 80 are not impacted.

Date: 03/21/20 10:32 Re: NC reductions Author: chasej My family is currently scheduled to take the Carolinian #80 in three-weeks from DC to Charlotte. Recevied an email and voicemail from Amtrak yesterday notifiying us no checked baggage for the train now. Only carry-ons. So makes sense that no baggage car will be included in the consist now. We'll likely be rescheduling our trip to a later date regardless.
