Now if we could add a transition car and some F units or FP 45s it would be super. Date: 03/26/20 07:26 Re: Early AM deaprture from Flagstaff Author: goneon66 awesome image. you nailed it............

Jeff I'd be totally guessing but came pretty quick thru the dip but there is good curve here. Sure someone may correct me but 59???? Shot at 1/400th.. Bob Date: 03/26/20 11:49 Re: Early AM departure from Flagstaff Author: PRR1361 Question from an easterner not familiar with Superliner / baggage cars combos: Is that a transition coach/sleeper car next to the bag, to give access from the train, or does whoever handles the baggage have to exit the train? Thanks,!

The Transition Sleeper has a high level door on one end and a low level door on the other end. Same as the Santa Fe Hi-Level Step-up / Step-down cars. So you do have access to the Baggage Car from the train. Date: 03/26/20 12:38 Re: Early AM departure from Flagstaff Author: Pig-Mauler PRR1361 Wrote:

Trans dorm behind the bag car. Date: 03/26/20 12:51 Re: Early AM departure from Flagstaff Author: texchief1 That is one nice shot! Can you shoot that from I40 just pulling onto the shoulder or do you have to drive in there?
Thanks. Randy Lundgren Elgin, TX Date: 03/26/20 13:16 Re: Early AM departure from Flagstaff Author: robj texchief1 Wrote:

It is easy on off and a pretty decent parking area opposite this shot. Road is fairly busy but you don't have to be on overpass itself, can climb over approach barrier so you are pretty safe. You might get some shot fro shoulder? Bob Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/26/20 13:17 by robj. Date: 03/26/20 13:31 Re: Early AM deaprture from Flagstaff Author: 8notch Bob, Great looking shot. Yeah and the speed increases big time once no. 4 clears East Darling, rode it almost 3 years ago and man, talk about putting the pedal to the medal! Posted from Android |
