Over the past month and a bit a few friends and I have been tackling getting BC-21 up and running 100%, well yesterday it finally happened. We replaced the fuel pump again and sure enough the troubled motor came to life, its a good feeling after spending countless hours troubleshooting the system!

At the end of the day we picked up the BC33 and put it down our temp shop tack to start diagnosing its systems, we know we have a dead transmission but unsure what else.

Thanks for posting the photos.  Budd RDC cars are a real favorite.
Good to see them being made operable.

So is it still powered with the original Detroit 6-110's or was it repowered?

BC Rail sent them through a rebuild program and upgraded the motors to a Cummins NTA-855R.

No, they are mounted to the engine under the car
