Semaphores, the Chief, and a long Rail Runner
Author: Prophoto

On the way home Sunday I was compelled to keep stopping. I mean, what was I supposed to do, just keep driving with trains coming? First shot The Chief (#3) at WSS Levy, second at the bottom of La Bajada watching a nice little early season thunderstorm, and the third a result of checking my rear view mirror frequently, like any good driver.

Nice bunch.  That middle one makes a great B&W.

The going away shot with Wagon Mound in the distance works good!

Thank you everyone for the compliments. It always helps to have a little time to think and get set up before a train arrives. For the first two photos I had that time. The Rail Runner was a grab shot of a target of opportunity. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
