Passenger Trains > 5.5 HR Late Pennsylvanian # 43

Arr. Philadelphia 12:23 pm and expected to depart PHL 6:15 pm tonight. Severe thunderstorm activity. Estimated arrival PGH 12:11 AM. Will WB Capitol be held for the connection ? 

Add 2 hours to the Pittsburgh arrival time; as of right now the train is sitting just west of Ardmore.

How could  Amtrak hold Amtrak 43 in Philly for over 6 plus Hours, becauses of Storms or something else??

You ask how Amtrak could do such? I worked for Amtrak, they always found a way to screw things up, TRUST ME! I also worked for the Post Office, and even Mr. Zip was a whole lot better operating than Amtrak! Sad because there are some good, hard working public servants at Amtrak, but they get tired of carrying most of the load and move on. Brian Rosenwald was a good example.

Guessing 80 mph wind gusts, massive power outages from severe storms were the main issue.

I Hope they let  people off of the train for 6 hours waited in Station in Philly, and something good to eat  in the station.

Its on the map as 8 hours late into Paoli. Is the train even running? ETA into Pittsburgh is like 4:05 am. 

12:26 late at Tyrone.  It could've used a sleeper on this run.
