Passenger Trains > PC #61-427-27Date: 06/27/20 10:27 PC #61-427-27 Author: RevRandy Here's a recently rediscovered film of Penn Central's combined train of many numbers, 61-427-27, arriving into Chicago (coming off the NYC main onto the PRR tracks into Union Station), probably in 1969. You will see it carried both Boston and New York Sleepercoaches as well as regular sleepers from both.

Current ex PRR ‘509’ bridge is being used in movie (and still in use by NS/Amtrak), the ex-NYC bridge on right that lead to Englewood and the hard right north to LaSalle Street.

I think you are right as I think about it and review the video. In that case we are seeing 28-14-376-428-62 ias #28, having departed Chicago at 2:35pm, reaching NYG at 10:10am and Boston at 12:15pm. There was a long delay, with other train(s) backed up behind us. The train was re-routed (although I don't know how that was done). This ended up being an extremely late train, but I didn't care.
