Passenger Trains > Why the number change on the Zephyr?

I have been on vacation and probably missed the reason, but why is the Zephyr #5 now the #1105?

There is track work being done 5 days per week through September on tracks west of Denver, which is causing a two hour scheduled delay on the days when the work is being done.  On non-trackwork days, the westbound CZ runs on the normal schedule.

Amtrak's computers don't deal well (or, at all) with two trains with the same number being scheduled into a station on the same day.  On days when transitioning from a trackwork day to a non-trackwork day, there will be a westbound CZ arriving in Salt Lake City at ~1:30 AM (the last trackwork affected train of the week) and another westbound CZ arriving ~11:30PM on the same day (the first normal schedule "weekend" train, although I don't think it is actually on the weekend).  In order to make the computer happy (and some other things simpler), all the trackwork impacted CZs are renumbered 1105.

All this talk of number changes, well and good. Does anyone know exactly where the MofW work is happening??
