I like the looks of these cars. Hopefully they stay clean looking unlike the Horizon cars.

How many seats in each car? How does the low level seating capacity compare to the bi-level seating capacity?

Are they going to be as "efficient" as the bi-level train set and are the stairs to board on the single level train set going to be acceptable to Californians that have been without these for so long?

There's been a single level trainset on this route for a couple years now.
So it shouldn't be much of a surprise.

Smart looking train. If it looks as attractive as the Brightline trains on the inside, it will be a winner. They could ditch the "San Joaquins" decal. A little tacky.

The Horizons were always sort a brushed Aluminum look. They were never very shiny and the Aluminum took on a oxidized look fairly quickly.  And Amtrak painted them in Platinum Mist which never aged well. The Siemens look like stainless steel.

Imagine them in revenue service, radomly mixed with Horizon, Amfleet, and ex-NJT Com-Arrows !

That will some trick since they're semi-permamently coupled.
