There's been a single level trainset on this route for a couple years now. So it shouldn't be much of a surprise. They could ditch the "San Joaquins" decal. A little tacky.

They were never very shiny and the Aluminum took on a oxidized look fairly quickly. And Amtrak painted them in Platinum Mist which never aged well. The Siemens look like stainless steel.
