Passenger Trains > Ft. Madison stationDate: 07/31/20 22:04 Ft. Madison station Author: agent1522 Many years ago, there were plans to change the stop at Ft. Madison from Shopton to the downtown station. I see the train still stops at Shopton. What happened? I seem to recall that the building underwent renovation, which included a waiing room and possibly a tvcket office. But after the renovation was complete, everything stopped. Are there still plans to stop at the station or has it been abandoned.
