Passenger Trains > 48/448 arriving and departing Utica August 10

Happened to be around Utica Union Station (wellllll, to be honest programmed other activities so I would be around Union Station) at time for the Lake Shore Limited.  Down about 20 minutes in and 19 minutes out, the train did a decent amount of arrivals; a goodly group onto the NY section but only one onto the Boston section (to Springfield).  Train had to make a second stop when someone belatedly realized it was their stop! Still, they shaved a minute off the delay.

In this video you can see the idled equipment of the Adirondack Scenic, including their newly acquired ex-NYC diner/lounge and the dome car painted for them before they received it.

A side note - because of the COVID crisis, there is now NO other public transportation up the Mohawk Valley - the usual bus operations have been suspected.  As my brother pointed out, if one searches for buses from Albany to Buffalo, one gets options of 11-13 hours of travel by way of NY City.  At this time, other than private auto, Amtrak is it for upstate NY.
