Passenger Trains > Derailment on Texas State RailroadDate: 09/18/20 18:46 Derailment on Texas State Railroad Author: GenePoon CHEROKEE COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A train on the Texas State Railroad has derailed. A spokeswoman with the Texas State Railroad confirmed the derailment and said at this time, there are no reports of any injuries. A passenger aboard the train sent a picture of the derailment and said he was told they were about 10 miles from Palestine. The train was eventually able to make its way back to the Palestine depot, according to a passenger on the train. The passenger said the parts of the train that derailed were left behind. They said the train was shaking on the way back, but no injuries were reported.

I hope they didn't pay &700,000 for it, or whatever it was listed for. Maybe it was just a lease? |
