Passenger Trains > Trains and Stations: Deerfield, ILDate: 09/22/20 15:15 Trains and Stations: Deerfield, IL Author: bandob Deerfield station was originally built as the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Passenger Depot in 1872 on what is currently the site of 35 Central Avenue. A boxcar was used as a temporary station while the permanent one was being built. It was rebuilt at its present location in 1900. Deerfield was famous for a time for having a "no kissing" zone.
