Along with the news about the equipment (which many riders considers more comfortable and spacious than conventional Amfleet cars), complimentary coffee and water, along with vending machine food, have returned and are available in the “Bogue Sound." Or the fifth pair that had been contemplated but not started before COVID-19 set in. NCDOT remains under financial pressure and just announced a widespread postponement of highway and transit projects across the state. One of them was double-tracking the CSX A-line for three miles over the Roanoke River at Weldon.
