Author: RRBMail Do any TOs know anything of David Marshall, the former Amtrak Western District Supervisor and former St. Louis Ramp Supervisor--of the 1980s/90s? If so, please message me, it's a very important health issue! Thanks in advance!

Sadly, I think he passed away some years ago. Date: 10/16/20 03:03 Re: Calling David Marshall--Oakland / St. Louis? Author: mp51w Here's a shot of Dave, on the right, at Minot, working as train chief on the Empire Builder back in 1987.
What I observed as a passenger, was that he understood his job well, engaging with passengers, and tried to be easy going with employees. Some train chiefs let the position go to their heads, and were a source of friction with on board crews. Just my 2 cents worth. Date: 10/16/20 15:27 Re: Calling David Marshall--Oakland / St. Louis? Author: EMD2024 Dave did pass away a good 10 years ago or so. I worked many STL-CHI RT's on private cars back in the day with him and his brother Jeff.
