"Joe" is back!
Author: GenePoon

Joe Boardman, that is. Sort of...

The engine with his name on it, Veterans unit AMTK 42, is assigned to the California Zephyr 5(17), leading. Trail units 159 and 6. The 42 is back from repairs and that may be why the two trail units.

Just got a view of it leaving Chicago by way of the RailStream video cam. Nice looking unit!

Only two locomotives on #3 out of Chicago, 42 and 159. Interestingly, 159 was facing the towards the train.

Thanks for catching that. Yes, 42 is on #5, not #3.
