CONO disruptions tonight

Train 58 lost over 4 hours between Hazelhurst and Jackson MS tonight.  
anyone know what happened?

As so often with Amtrak.  Mechanical.  About four hours lost but that may not be all...Now estimated at Yazoo City, next stop after Jackson, 7 1/2 hours late.

58(15) departed NOL with the AMTK 46.

54(15) now over 9 hours late into Newbern TN.  Couldn't add Freight engine inMemphis?

Aren't there extra P42s around now since many trains are tri-weekly? How about the dozen stored in NOUPT?

9 hrs late now. There will be a meet with 393, possibly near HMW.

Maybe they need to stick to 2 units.

Not precisely, but I think it was a traction motor issue... the bugaboo of dieseldom from its inception to the present day.
