Passenger Trains > Rail Runner Express. What is their PTC status?Date: 01/15/21 14:00 Rail Runner Express. What is their PTC status? Author: PlyWoody The FRA said 12/29/20 said that all rail operation had met their PTC deadline. How did New Mexico's Rail Runner Express manage or did they shut down completely because they were not handling anyone on any train. Last I heard they had not received the monies to construct they PTC system.

What is their PTC status? Author: YardLimit The Rail Runner Express has been running trains up until this week with no passengers. I assume it is to bring the crews up to speed on PTC, which was approved by the FRA at the end of dEcember. From listening to the scanner, I know that there are several new crew members being trained.
